Kannur, Kerala, India. The Great Venetian adventurer Marco Polo referred to this place as “a great Emporia of spice trade.” Ibn Batuta, writer and historian of Tangiers, once trudged its shores. Kannur, also known as Cannanore is the hometown of Singapore-based Mohamed Salim. A Salman Rushdie, this McCann World Group strategy planner listens to Pink Floyd, Neil Young and the Radiohead. Known as ez2axs on Flickr, he captured these photographs during a Rhodia Exhibition at Books Actually, an independent bookstore along Telok Ayer Street in the Lion City. Of hisphotostream, he explains: [It] is not essentially about showcasing my photography skills (which is quite basic), but a digital archive of my visual curiosity. We say, his work is “Truth Well Told”.
