I use a Pelikan m400 medium nib (Binderized) on my dotWebbie (really dramatic shading on the 5mm grid) and for taking notes on my No. 13 pad (which I'm happy to hear is coming out in a dot pad). It's a little wet, but I love it.

Oddly, my Lamy Safaris work really well on the Rhodia paper, so you can have something cheap and effective (always a nice combination when you can get it)!

Use my Pelikan m805 medium nib pen on the Rhodia pad sometimes. It's a bit too wet for it, so I'd perhaps try something finer. It works best on the Clairefontaine paper.
