I used to enter in a Spanish forum to talk with fountain pen lovers. There was a man who was always searching for the perfect notebook. He had traveled to some countries for business so he knows about Clairefontaine and Rhodia.

I searched Rhodia in The Fountain Pen Network and people talked very good about it.

It was quite a few years ago when I went into a Border’s store, which is not my usual book store, but there was a year end clearance sale going on. I like orange and as I was walking along ther racks of calendar’s I saw this big orange note pad. It was 50% off and I thought what the heck.

I haven’t looked back since that day. I have sought out the orange pads and notebooks every since then. I love the paper. It responds well for almost everything I do. In finding the Rhodia pad I also started using Claire Fontaine more and more. I had already used the Triumph stationary and liked it so, I expanded to notebooks and I even found a watercolor notebook which unfortunately is no longer available.

Keep those Rhodia and Claire Fontaine products rolling right out to my desk, pocket, purse or pack.

The answer to this one is easy – the Fountain Pen Network

I discovered Rhodia in a store in Boulder, Colorado as I was shopping for some things with my daughter. I had heard of Rhodia before since I’ve used Moleskine products also but wanted something of quality but at a lesser price for my more routine writing. I picked up a variety of notebooks and have never been disappointed with their products. Great paper that holds pen well, good for writing with a quality pencil too! Overall, the finest notepad of its kind.

Through Moleskine users, who used fountain pens, who touted their fantasticalness.

I asked a friend if I could borrow his notebook and he handed me a Rhodia pad. I’ve loved them ever since.

Through Black Cover and then patiently awaiting the delivery of the newly papered Webnotebooks.

I’ve read, heard, seen it on websites, specifically Notebookism.com, from Fountain Pen Network, and from friends from overseas who got their hands on a Rhodia notebook. But I haven’t really gotten into owning/using one as it is not available here in the Philippines. :( Hopefully we can have them later on.

I was in England with students…they’d lose me every time we passed a stationers. In one of them I found my first Rhodia.

It was the Reverse notebook I found later on, though, that cemented the love. I’m known for “the square notebook” at meetings. I’m also using the stapled notebooks in lieu of Moleskines for journals–super durable, great paper. Now, if only they came in blank…

I started using Clairefontaine notebooks in grade school. The school I went to followed the french curriculum and we were required to use séyès-lined notebooks. Ever since I’ve been fond of them.

While buying a replacement Clairefontaine notebook at one of our local store (Nota Bene) I was introduced to the sleek orange pads. I liked the #12 and #16 pads in 5×5 best for notes ever since. Since I drag my hand on the paper, the lack of a gutter with spirals makes it much more comfortable to write in.

Actually I discover Rhodia on Biffy Bean’s blog. I use to write with Moleskines. But I wasn’t happy with the quality of the paper. Always bled through, federed in all my inks (I’m a fountain pen user). I started hunting for the perfect notebook (pocket and medium) and I discovered the Webnotebook on Biffy beans website. I ordered 2 just for testing purposes; I couldn’t let them go every since. Now I buy everything Rhodia (pads, notebooks, the rhodia bloc, etc.) :) My new best friend!
