Hmmmm, I always assumed it had something to do with the world wide web, but that really doesn’t make sense when I think about it. Webbie is fine with me as long as I can call the little ones weblings.

(Quickly followed by the ridiculous "Rhodia Scholar.") But would that sound too much like "Wrotebook" or "Rotebook?" (The latter suggesting you either learned through rote memory or engaged in the routine, which you probably wouldn't want.)

I’m not a fan of “Webbie”. I don’t understand why it’s just not the company name? It’s one of the flagship products of the company and one of the most expensive, so why not just name it Rhodia?

Webnotebook sounds too generic to me. I think people that know what a Webnotebook is already know to ask/check if it’s 90g paper or not.

I’m not fond of the Webbie idea. Sounds to much like the Molie used for moleskine. Why not just call it Web. Like: Please, hand me my Web. Or: Did anyone see where I left my Web?
