» Rhodia Scoot
Leah Hoffman from the Quo Vadis Blog sent me this picture of this absolutely adorable Rhodia colored scooter that lives in her neighborhood. I’ve never ridden a scooter or a motorcycle but have always wanted to. I can see myself riding one like this through the Italian countryside to the local market where I would pick up some fresh bread, wine, and cheese for a casual dinner with friends. To me, it just seems to strike an emotional chord of freedom – one of “I’m going where I want, I’ll get there when I get there, and things will be joyous when I arrive because I drive an orange moto scoot!”

Very cool, I love it! Can you add a sidecar? ;-)
Electrical scooters (like the ones commongly found in Key West) are pretty fun and don’t require much training to handle them. I tried a gas-powered one on a recent trip, and its gear-shifting kind of stump me and kept stalling the engine.
