Looking for an inexpensive item for a Holiday Gift Exchange? How about a few brightly colored Rhodia pencils? Rhodia pencils are HB lead grade, triangular shaped, (so they won’t roll off your desk) and sport a black Linden wood body with matching black eraser.

HD ???
What a delightful pencil! It feels good and looks good. Are they also made by Clairefontaine? Any resources about their history?
Thanks
I’m not exactly sure of their history or who the manufacturer is – but as I find out, I will be sure to post!
The eraser appears to be broken off the pencil (or completely worn down) in that striking and intriguing photo. Also, you probably mean “HB” rather than “HD”. :-)
Whoops! HB. Thanks for pointing that out!
Yes…. should have been HB – much thanks! I also noticed the missing eraser but I though the photo was just too cool not to use. Funny thing… I have a bad habit of fiddling with my own pencil erasers to the point of breaking them off and I know that I have one Rhodia around here missing its eraser.
