» What is your favorite size Bloc Rhodia Pad?

My first exposure to Rhodia was about 5 years ago when perusing the selection of Bloc Rhodia pads in my local Blick Art Supply store. The first pads I ever bought were a pair of the 3×4″ N° 11′s, and I kept one in my backpack everywhere I went. As a writer, I found there were certain bits of information I wanted to easily reference and that’s where I kept it – jotted down in my always close-at-hand N° 11.
When the N° 08′s came out, (3×8 ¼”) I absolutely fell in love with their long skinny design which is perfect for making lists. Their micro perforated design makes sheet removal easy, though due to my advancing age, I find I could use some sort of velcro device to attach these sheets of paper to my forehead so it would keep me from forgetting them inside the car – remembering them only once I’ve walked all the way across the parking lot, into the store and loaded up half a cart full of groceries. (Coffee & toothpaste… that’s what we need, right?) I then have to stand there and try to mentally envision what I wrote and ironically, more often than not, I do remember. It seems as though the simple act of writing things down help to secure it within the these old brain cells.
Of all the various Bloc Rhodia Pads, which is your favorite and why? We’d love to hear how you are using them.

Number 16, A5. I’m torn between line and grid (though I’m really curious about the dots).
I love 12&13 for my everyday scratchpad usage. I have a #11 in my laptop case for travel. Beautiful paper,good perforation and lines on both sides. Great stuff.
Considering that I’ve only gotten on the Rhodia bandwagon in the last six months, I’ve only really tried No. 16 (A5). Tried the blank, but I’m finding (in general) I’m more into the grid at the moment.
However, I did recently stock up on a few other sizes that I’ll be trying out in the coming weeks/months…
16 is my all time favourite! it is big enough to provide a rest for your writing hand even if get to the farer right.
I’ve only been able to try the Nº 11, with a leatherette cover. I got it in december ’09, and it has become a constant companion. I use it for lists, sketches, doodles and jotting down whatever I fancy. From the very first day I tried it, I fell utterly in love with the quality of the paper, truly amazing!
I am anxiously looking forward for the new dotted pads!!
