» Webbie Tablets?

Someone, somewhere had asked about me about the possibility of a Webbie tablet. Webbie as in the 90g off-white paper found in the Rhodia Webnotebooks. With few exceptions, Rhodia/Clairefontaine products typically include bright white paper. As I myself prefer off-white paper for journaling, I think I could love the idea of spiral or staple-bound off-white tablets with same the fountain pen friendly Webbie paper.

Your thoughts? And if you could buy a Webbie tablet in just one size/format, what would it be?

I can’t tell you how many requests I get for Clairefontaine paper (of all kinds) in off-white paper! The #1 most requested off-white paper is Triomphe stationery…if there were off-white stationery tablets with Clairefontaine paper, oh man, people would freak (in a good way!).

Sounds like a great idea. It would be the closest thing to having off-white Triomphe stationary, that’s exciting!

I love this idea, but I’d like a Webbie that is top bound as well.

This would be wonderful! Letter size would be my preference, but junior size would be great, too.

I would love a soft ivory color Clairefontaine! Size? LARGE. Format? I don’t know – a variety would be nice as sometimes I want to keep what I write and other times I want to tear it out to send to someone (like a letter).

This is a great idea. I think someone on Fountain Pen Netword was just asking for this very thing.

I will take the credit here, at least for being the one who posted on FPN with an inquiry about this. Yes, I’d love an off-white version of Triomphe, but as I said in my post on FPN, I really love the color, texture, and ruling of the lines on the Webbie. I love that they don’t go all the way to the edge of the paper. I love that the lines are thicker at the top of the page. As for size, I am a fan of the smaller size – I forget the metric lettering but NOT the full US letter size 8.5 x 11.

I am very much in agreement with Missive Maven.

I’d love to see a Webbie Tablet in A5 size, much like the Triomphe tablet. This my favorite paper, beating out the Triomphe.

I’d be on cloud 9 if it came in A5 and A4 sizes. I use a No. 18 pad at work for stuff, but the A5 would be my first choice.

I’m a fan of the brighter white paper, but many of my customers have expressed a strong interest in something leaning more towards ivory. The 3ish x 5ish size has been proving much more popular than I thought, too.
