» Does the Cover Make a Difference?

The new dotPads are coming! Previously only available with a black cover, they will now be available in orange. Considering that orange is pretty much Rhodia’s signature color, I find it interesting that the first dotPads were only available in black. I was a big fan of the black cover on the first dotPads because I felt it really made a statement of “something totally new” for the brand.

As the orange dotPads make their way to your favorite retailers, will you be buying them or buying more of the black?

PS: We will be giving away a bunch of these at the end of April. Stay Tuned!

I love the black1 they will be in black too I hope :)

Have to be honest – if I can’t get the black covers I tend to wait for them. I know orange is the Rhodia colour, but to say I dislike it would be an understatement! It’s just not me, too bright and glaring. I’ll stick with the black and not be distracted by the glare of orange!

I’ve bought the black but prefer the orange.

I think I will have one each, and alternate depending on moods :)

I like the orange, so much more unique!

My wardrobe is totally neutral (read: mostly black), I like to think of my Rhodia as my statement accessory when I use an orange one (I have a big stack of both colors). Especially fitting this season with orange being so in!

I don’t know. I really like the orange, but the black looks really professional too. I don’t think it matters to me. As long as I have one:)

I like orange and there are plenty of other black covered notebooks

I would prefer black so it doesn’t stand out as much but I don’t mind orange if I’m feeling vibrant. I would also match them to a cause. Orange for creativity and black for a list or productivity. :)

What I am waiting for are the promised top wirebound dot pads! :) I;ve been using a No. 16 DotPad for journaling and it’s working okay, but it can be an unwieldy shape for writing on the back of the page. But it’s economical and great paper to boot!

Orange, all the way. Love the little splash when I pull it out…unique, fun, different. The orange brings me, the user, writer, doodler, joy. Others happen to notice it, that is true, but the little extra woohoo it brings, that’s for me. I love the idea of the dots, but haven’t purchased a larger pad of it because I know I’m not likely to use a black covered pad.
