» Every Day Carry

From Wikipedia: Everyday carry (EDC) or Every Day Carry refers to a small collection of tools, equipment and supplies that are carried on a daily basis to assist in tackling situations ranging from the mundane to the disastrous. The term EDC also refers to the philosophy or spirit of ‘preparedness’ that goes along with the selection and carrying of these items. Implicit in the term is the sense that an EDC is an individual’s personal selection of equipment, arrived at after deliberation, rather than a standardized kit.

EDC items normally fit in a pocket, or small pack, or be attached to clothing. Emphasis is placed on the usefulness, accessibility and reliability of these items. As an example, the core elements of a typical EDC might include a folding pocket knife, a flashlight, a cell phone/smart Phone, and a multi-tool. These items are often carried in pockets or collected into a pack or organizer.”

Tell me about some of the things that are a part of your EDC.

-vince

In addition to using the 9×14 (important notes, vendor-client meetings) and the 15×21 (general notes and sketches/designs) notebooks every day for work, I also carry the 7×12 one everyday. I use the small one for all my non work related thoughts, ideas and sketches. If you’re going to write/draw why not on the best paper out there. Accompanied to my Rhodia you will always find two knives, a money clip, iPhone and of course a fisher space pen/ mont blanc or lamy!!
