» Setting priorities
Sometimes I struggle with what’s really important in life and wonder how others set their priorities. Having left home at the age of 16, I sometimes feel like I missed out on learning which things in life take precedence over others and why.
If you were to make a list of the top ten things in your life that receive your regular attention, what would that list look like? Feel free to break out the pen and paper- I’ll wait. :o)

i too left home at 16 and, although it was what I felt I needed to do for my sanity it definitely left me feeling like I’d missed some nuturing!
In my earlier days my priorities would have been headed by work and career followed by travel, running and art.
Now they’ve reversed themselves and are a very comfortable and fulfilling mix of art, art , more art and, near the bottom, work. Ahhhhhh h h h !!
My personal philosophy is that all things are important. But since we have finite hours in the day, and must earn a living, we have to make constant decisions based on our sense of duty, discipline, commitment, desires and needs. Duty often conflicts with desire, and therein lies the battle.
My top 10 list:
Art/Crafts
Blogging
Husband
Mother
…oops, ran out of time for anything else!
