» Rhodia Pencils
Rhodia pencils are one of our best selling and most loved products. Signature orange over a black wood body of Linden wood, their triangular shape helps to keep them from rolling of your desk. They can be purchased individually or in boxes of 25 from select retailers.
The lead grade is HB – which happens to be the same #2 pencil that we all remember from filling out the little circles in the standardized tests of our childhood. Per Wiki: Many pencils across the world, and almost all in Europe, are graded on the European system using a continuum from “H” (for hardness) to “B” (for blackness), as well as “F” (for fine point).

Huge fan! I don’t know, I guess it’s just because they attract attention with the bright orange color and have a sturdy lead that stands up to my heavy-handed writing, but I juts bought two more and stashed them away for when I finish using the two I’ve got in rotation.
I’ve never used one, but they look intriguing.
I replied on the breakfast post by mistake.
I <3 pencils and Rhodia pencils are nice and dark but not too soft and not too hard.
Mine live in a black Rhodia pencil case.
I ordered a few of these a while back, just due to the neat orange color, but also to use them in my Itoya Romeo pencil holder. I really liked the way the pen’s color contrasted with the dark black of the holder, but I then found that…I loved the way they wrote. They have a greatcombination of darkness but also enough lead integrity to keep the lead sharp.
You bet! http://www.pencilrevolution.com/2010/09/review-of-rhodia-pencil/
I’ve never used them, send me a few and I’ll let you know. :)
