I have the black with an orange 3.5×5.5 webbie… and it looks great.

The drawback is that there’s only room for one pen. They do have two-pen quivers, but the aesthetics aren’t as good in my impression.

I use a pen case in my purse. It is a small neoprene zipper case that I purchased at Staples. The neoprene keeps the pens from getting scratched up and it feels comfortable in my hand. It is not a large case, but it holds my two Pilot G2s (red & black), stainless sharpie and Streamlight Stylus Pro flashlight (which is pen shaped). Without the case, I probably would never be able to find a pen when I need it.

I have been using a roll up pen case from Jet Pens which then tucks nicely into the pocket of my tom bihn bag. But I did back The Perfect Pen Case for the Pen Obsessed by Alicia Klein on Kickstarter. So I’m looking forward to using that when it arrives. Some of my finer instruments get wrapped and packed into a plastic case for travel. I’m a bit of a neurotic when it comes to my pens.

I generally keep a blue or green, black, red, and Pelikan M205 highlighter inked up, and I use them multiple times daily.

It gives the pens just enough padding to not get scratched or squashed sideways and keeps them vertical (nibs up) in my messenger bag alongside my Quo Vadis Habana or my Rhodia Webnotebook.

I just use a dab of leather conditioner a couple of times a year when it needs it, and it’s held up surprisingly well, becoming even more supple and rich over time.

Although it’s a bit pricey (I’d gotten mine on sale), it’s worth it to protect the investment you make in nice pens.

I use one– a Tom Bihn ballistic cloth pen/pencil. It keeps what I put in there nicely contained from the other assorted whatnot of my daily bag…but even within the pouch, it is, I confess, a little arena of chaos in the universe… usb sticks, pens, highlighter, pack of post-its, length of yarn, because, hey? One never knows. A couple tiny binder clips, one or two rubber bands… But, I know if I simply toss that pouch in whatever bag I’m using–I am golden.
