» Celebrating National Fountain Pen Day (Month!)
This past Friday (November 2nd) was The first EVER National Fountain Pen Day and I’m wondering how you chose to celebrate. Did you buy a new bottle of ink? Swap out the summery colors in your pens for ones to better represent fall and the changing leaves? Or maybe you treated yourself to a new or vintage pen – if so, tell me! I’d love to hear. I myself inked up my Pelikan M200 and was writing about Hurricane Sandy in my blank Webbie.
Didn’t get a chance to celebrate? Let’s make a whole month out of this holiday!

I hugged my Lamy Dialog3 and ordered the new Lamy Studio Limited Edition in Red.
My observation of the day was a hand-written blog entry (on, I hasten to add, a Rhodia tablet); the writing was easy enough, but the technical processing to convert it to something web-visible was hassle enough to make me glad it’s not a whole month, in fact.
Of course, around my place, every day is a day of fountain pens. That it was hard to mark out one as special was only to be expected.
Letters to friend and an Omas 360 Lucens LE in my hands!
i bought a new/ old esterbrook off ebay… been wanting to try out a vintage FP for a while!
