» Did the Best Team Win?

I’m writing this at 1:05 pm on Sunday, less than 5 1/2 hours before the big game. It will be on in my house but I won’t be watching it. These days, I’m really not much of a sports fan but I know there are those who wouldn’t miss this game for the world. In America, Super Bowl day is like an unofficial holiday with parties and beer and tasty treats like buffalo wings, nachos, and chili. Advertisers pull out all stops to create the best and funniest commercials to air during the game and the halftime show is always a mega-production with a huge superstar singer set to perform. (This year it’s Beyonce.)

Now that it’s over, do you think the best team won? Which was your favorite commercial? And what was your favorite game-day food?

I had the game on but didn’t watch most of it. Having been born in Baltimore I think the best team won. That city needs something positive for a change!

Certainly the best team one – that’s why they did win!
The Mercedes Benz or what ever car commercial was my favorite – loved the vintage pen!

Put me in the “wouldn’t miss it” category. We had a small party at our house. One of our guests brought a sushi platter which turned out to be my favorite dish of the day…and I even grilled chicken and hamburgers.

I thought the commercials were pretty lame this year, but I enjoyed the truck commercial with Paul Harvey. Very powerful!

I was cheering for the 49-ers, but wasn’t upset that they lost. It was a great game. I especially enjoyed the power outage.

Yes, the best team won, Hon!
