I had a # 16 holder, but it lasted less time than my first pad of paper with it. The inside cover stuck to the cover – and tore the part that the backboard of the pad slid in. (as if it had been glued, but that seems rather unlikely) I tried emailing about it, but got no response, wondering if I could fix it.

That said, my #16 pads live happily on my desk, and I’m working through my pile. :)

Beth – please contact Karen@exaclair.com about your experience with the pad holder.

I do. No issues like the previous commentor. It travels in my Tom Bihn. I did remove the pencil holder – it didn’t accomodate my fountain pen. Love the “R” paper, by the way.

Wow this looks like a great idea. The covers to my pads get so worn by the end of the life of the pad :)

I was gifted a #12+ pad when I bought a nice pen from RikWil. Fits perfectly in a purse pocket & makes it easy to grab & flip when ideas strike. I hadn’t used small pads before, but it’s so nice to use, I’m hooked.

I should clarify; I really liked mine, and I suspect I just had bum luck. It worked really well when I first got it, and I do recommend the holder if you are really hard on your pads. It also holds note-scraps really well.

I have 3 sizes, which I bought a few years ago and I love them!
