Stationery stores, art stores and book stores are a few of the more popular types of brick and mortar stores where you may discover a selection of Rhodia products available for purchase.

Click here to find a local retailer in your state or here for retailers with multiple locations. Product availability may vary and if you are looking for a specific Rhodia or Exaclair product, it might be best to call ahead.

Rhodia Retailer Promotions

Dear Rhodia Drive Friends,

Once a month, I will do a post on any special sales or promotions we know our retailers are doing on Rhodia products.

This month, European Paper Company and Quiver Pen Holders are offering Rhodia specials for Father’s Day, graduations and just presents to self for fine writing.

European Paper Company is featuring Rhodia Academic Year (August 2013-July 2014) planners.  They are also offering a 15% discount on Rhodia pencils.  The code is goRhodia. They will also be having an interesting traveling Rhodia notebook promotion coming up later this month.  Here’s a link to their site. European-Paper-Company-Rhodia-Academics-Blog

Just in time for Father’s Day, Quiver Pen Holders is featuring a hand-made leather pen holder with a large Rhodia Webnotebook.  The stitching in the pen holder perfectly matches Rhodia’s orange. It looks pretty striking with a black Webbie.  Be sure to enter coupon code Dad2013 at checkout for your 20% discount.  See them all here.

Happy Shopping!

Where You Buy Your Rhodia

It’s been a while since I’ve put a call out for photos of where you buy your Rhodia. Whether it’s your local art supply store, a Mom & Pop stationery store, or your favorite gift shop, we’d love to see & share. Feel free to include yourself in the pictures, or the shop owners (with their permission.) We enjoy seeing interesting Rhodia displays in your favorite stores from all over the world. Send them to: Stephanie at RhodiaDrive dot com with “Where I buy My Rhodia” in the subject line.

The typewriter store on Hudson street

Stuart Matz snapped this at the typewriter store on Hudson street in the West Village, NYC. A bit of sleuthing uncovered AFAX Business Machines to be the store in question at 181 Hudson Street, Suite 2A New York, NY 10013.

I haven’t really spent a lot of time in NYC despite it being only a 90 minute bus ride away, and as I am somewhat enamored of all the mom & pop specialty stores that exist there, I should make the ride more often.

Do you have a favorite little specialty shop in NYC? Or in your hometown? I’d like to hear about it.

Where you buy your Rhodia: Martell Press in Margate, Kent

Greetings from Margate on the sunny coast of Kent in the UK. I found a little nest of Rhodia products in Martell’s shop in Northdown Road. It started life decades ago as a printers and office equipment store. Then the owners sold up to retire. The new guys went bust. The original owners bought it back.
