Speaking of Reading Blogs…
How are you reading your blogs? Is it through a bookmarked link in your browser, via a feed reader, direct e-mail or an app on your mobile device? And is there anything we could do to make Rhodia Drive more friendly towards your preferred method of delivery?
I used to use Google Reader as my primary blog reader until I found the FlipBoard app for my iPad – but I’m still always wondering if there is a neater or more efficient way to peruse content from the 150+ blogs I’m subscribed to. My inbox is a little too full for blog subscriptions and so I only receive a handful via e-mail.
Blogroll Housekeeping and Looking for New Links
Here on Rhodia Drive, we maintain a blogroll consisting of sites dedicated to paper, pens, pencils, ink, art, art journaling, and writing. It’s about that time of year when I check to make sure all of the current links are still functional and also when I start looking for cool new links.
If you have or know of an awesome blog you think we should consider adding to our blogroll, leave the link down in the comment section and I will be happy to take a look. I can’t guarantee we will be able to use each and every submission, but please know that we are always looking for relevant sites with quality content. Reciprocal linkage is always appreciated.
Oh, and please let me know if you regularly peruse our existing blogroll links.

What are Your Favorite Blogs?
We’ve received a lot of feedback from our readers about how much you enjoy our Friday Link Shares and I appreciate knowing that you like reading these as much as I do discovering it. I typically search for content for these posts amongst my 150+ blog subscriptions but will also scour Twitter and Facebook for interesting articles to further enhance the list.
As I am always looking for new content, I would love for you to tell me your favorite blogs so I can check them out. My personal favorites include a plethora of stationery/pen/ink reviewers, tip sites such as Mashable and Lifehacker, and funny sites such as The Oatmeal.
If you have a personal site you’d like me to review for possible addition to our Rhodia Drive Blogroll, please feel free to list that as well.
Favorite Pens + Favorite Paper
I started to regularly use Rhodia and Clairefontaine products after discovering years ago that the waterbased inks in my (at that time) new favorite writing tool, (a fountain pen) did not play well with the paper in my then favorite notebook. I then started upon a mission to seek out the perfect pen/ink/notebook combination and documented many of my findings along the way Continue Readering »

Which Social Networking or Social Media Sites do you use?

I probably spend more time on Facebook than any other social site, but I’m also on Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Linked in, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc. The sites where I probably share the most content are Facebook and Twitter- especially since I found the Flipboard app for iPhones & iPads – an app that makes discovering and sharing new and interesting content extremely simple. Since we are going to be doing a bit of a blog redesign, we are hoping you will help us learn how to make our blog as interactive as possible.
Which are your favorite social sites for sharing content? For discovering content? Do you use an aggregate type of app like Flipboard to discover new content? Any comments would be extremely helpful.
